Many citizens choose to participate in politics more than just voting. People can get involved in more ways through campaign work and signing a petition. By helping a party campaign you can donate money to their cause, volunteer for events, and travel to support a certain candidate. There are many more things that you can do to help run a campaign as well. Another option to get involved besides voting is to sign a petition. By signing a petition, you are helping change something or start something with just the help of average citizens. We are still working towards a more democratic government though.
